Why Our Lady of Peace School?

Our mission is to educate our children to embody Catholic values and beliefs while establishing a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

We believe:

  • Our school has a culture infused with gospel values that prepares students for life and work.
  • Teachers hold high expectations for student learning and use different approaches to meet the diverse needs of the students.
  • Teachers help students think critically and ethically about our world.
  • Our school provides opportunities for students to participate in service learning activities for social justice.

CURRENT ENROLLMENT

We welcome families throughout the Diocese whether it be close to our building in Clintonville, or distanced and choosing OLP as a good fit for your children. Parents and guardians are encouraged to become a part of our community through volunteering with our sports programs, extracurricular activities, fundraising efforts and everyday events.

EXCELLENT TEACHERS & STAFF

Our teachers and staff are fully certified as excellent educators, many with Master’s degrees, and decades of experience in this same building. Both teachers and staff frequently participate in professional development to advance professional skills and knowledge in order to maintain a strong understanding of current trends and exceptional practices in the field of education.

PRIMARY GOAL

The development of the whole child is paramount in the minds of all faculty and staff at Our Lady of Peace. Every member of the faculty and staff is dedicated to the academic, social and emotional growth of all children in the school. We pride ourselves in our ability to make every child feel welcomed and valued in our community.

UNLOCK YOUR STUDENT'S POTENTIAL

With small class sizes and a personalized learning environment, your child will have many opportunities to explore his or her own interests while receiving a solid education grounded in the standards of the Diocese of Columbus. Our school culture promotes active learning experiences that move beyond the textbook and into project and problem based learning, field trips, guest speakers, and the chance to find their talents in music, theater, art and physical education. In addition to our athletics program, OLP has a variety of extracurricular offerings including choir, robotics, scouts, chess club and more. Unlock your student’s potential at Our Lady of Peace.
