Dear Our Lady of Peace Family,

As we prepare for Thanksgiving, I give thanks to each of the students of Our Lady of Peace. In the words of a Neil Diamond song, “They have sweated beneath the same sun/ Looked up and wondered at the same moon.” And each one is a Child of God. 

The beauty of working in a small school is that as I type every name onto this page, I can see that student. I know each student, some more than others, but every single student from kindergarten through eighth grade is known to me. 

Each child is an individual, unique in the history of the world. God made them this way. Our job is to let them discover what their unique place is and to take their gifts to build His Kingdom. 

Let us all celebrate each student individually as well as collectively as the children of Our Lady of Peace. Let us pray for them, as well as the teachers and staff who work so hard with you, to have them reach their full potential in life.
