This is the latest protocol for students and adults in the building experiencing symptoms. We are required to follow this protocol. Please do not ask for exceptions. We are not allowed to deviate from this. If directives change we will notify you. Thanks for your cooperation in this matter:

Covid Protocol
If your child exhibits one of the following symptoms:
  • Fever greater than 100.4
  • New or worsened cough
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion/Runny Nose
  • Student reported or has been notified that they have been in close contact with a positive COVID-19 case.
Or

If your child exhibits two or more of the following:
                Headache
                Body aches/muscle aches/chills
                New or worsened fatigue
                Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea

The following must occur:
The child must stay home for 10 days and be free of fever without fever reducing medicine and improving symptoms for 24 hours before returing.
OR
Those with symptoms may only return prior to the 10 day requirement with a signed/stamped note from a healthcare provider which states that the student is not contagious, is free of COVID-19, and does not present a risk of spreading COVID-19 to others.

BUT
If reported as a close contact to a positive COVID-19 case, student must quarantine (not come to school) and monitor for symptoms for 14 days. Contact your local health department for further guidance. Student must provide clearance from public health in writing before returning to school.
