Dear Our Lady of Peace Family,

As we prepare for our annual day of Thanksgiving, I want to introduce to you the students of Our Lady of Peace, all 252 of them. Each one of them has special gifts and talents that he or she brings into our school daily. Each one of them learns differently. Their struggles and challenges are unique as well. And each day our wonderful teachers and staff greet them in the morning. They educate them and care for them.

I am thankful to each one of our students and I pray for them. This year I would ask everyone who is reading this to pick one name, perhaps of a student you don’t know, and pray for that young man or woman from now through Christmas. Pray that he learns. Pray that she is safe and feels loved. Pray that your student will know God’s presence and answer His call to the vocation he or she is meant to follow in furtherance and fulfillment of God’s kingdom.
